It is a great pleasure for me to welcome you to the 2nd Deaf World Shooting Championships here in Hanover. After an 8-year break, it is a honor for me to host this important event again and to share it with you all.

This World Championship represents the pinnacle of deaf shooting in 2024. It is a testament to your determination, your precision and your unwavering commitment to our sport. Having participated in the first World Championship myself, I am particularly excited to see your achievements and developments.

With the shooting range in Hanover, we can also offer you the perfect conditions for such an important competition. Our facility is well prepared to support top performances and we strive to ensure that every athlete has the opportunity to surpass themselves.

I would also like to say a big thank you to our sponsors and my organizing team. Their support and commitment have made this championship possible and their contributions are deeply appreciated by everyone involved.
