Warm welcome to the 2nd World Deaf Shooting Championships!

These world championships will bring together athletes from all over the world to demonstrate their skills and passion for the sport of shooting. In the large national performance center of the Lower Saxony Sports Shooting Association, 16 nations with around 70 participants will compete in an exciting competition and contest this tournament under the motto "team spirit and fair play".

We look forward to seeing all athletes, supporters and all visitors!

The time as come from 29 August until 8 September 2024 – athletes from all over the world will compete against each other in an exiting competition for the title „DEAF SHOOTING CHAMPION 2024“.
We are looking forward to being together and having a fair tournament! Because this experience connects people with and without deafness and prepares the ground for an appreciative, – in the truest sense of the word – barrier-free coexistence.

The German Deaf Sports Association is the German superior organization for sports for the deaf and people with hearing disabilities.
We are committed to respectful cooperation and combine universal values such as team spirit, fair play and tolerance, not only in sports.
As the host of the 2nd Deaf Shooting Championships, we are looking forward to an exciting sporting competition at the top level!

Organizer

The International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD) was founded in 1924 under the name CISS (Comité International des Sports des Sourds) and celebrates its 100 year anniversary in Paris this year.
This organization is standing behind the establishment, development and consolidation of the tradition of inviting top deaf/hard of hearing athletes from around the world to come together not only in their respective sports, but also to develop camaraderie between their countries.
